Woodhead tunnel likely to made unusable as a rail tunnel

Depressing news regarding any possible future opening of the Woodhead rail route! The National Grid seem likely to be granted permission to use the 1954 tunnel to route high voltage cables away from the decaying Victorian built tunnels they currently use.
