You Won't Be Seeing This On Labour Leaflets

Last week Labour were very quick to claim that Stuart Hall left the Labour Party 10 years ago. He didn’t get very far it seems; Guido has uncovered this photograph of him opening Stalybridge Labour Club in Tameside last summer with Labour MP Jonathan Reynolds and his predecessor Lord Pendry. For more information visit the amazing Guido Fawkes' blog by clicking here

Stuart Hall was recently jailed for a string of sexual assaults on young girls aged as young as nine. I must however admit, and this is in no way mitigation for the vile acts Stuart Hall admitted to perpetrating, that a lady who is close to me on a personal level spent a lot of time with Mr Hall as a child. On a number of occasions during the 1970's he was her chaperone at Manchester City matches played at Maine Road. She said during the winter when it was cold he would sometimes wrap her up in his sheepskin coat to keep her warm. He also used to give her lots of Fox's Glacier Fruits. She said he never once acted in an inappropriate manner. The lady in question who is a professional and lives in Haughton Green tried to make contact with Mr Hall after his initial arrest to provide a signed witness statement to that effect. As events unfolded and Stuart Hall admitted his guilt she didn't know what to believe as she maintains to this day that he never acted in inappropriately towards her. Tameside Citizen

No EDL/UAF comments on this article please. I have had complaints that the comments section is becoming swamped with such comments which many people find boring.

Don't know about Hall but all these local Labourites have known each other years. It's like a little club where they scratch each others backs.

Why was Cllr Perry not selected as the MP? You would think with friends in high places like Lord Pendry he would have been the automatic choice.

Anyone interested in linking Owen Oyston.R.Oldham.Pendry
S.Hall.
Scratching each others backs does not take into consideration their very enthusiastic interest in young girls who were targeted for years.
Strange how the local press never ever said a word in those days.
I wonder if any DNA was still in the Rectory in Denton before they pulled it down ??
As for Perry and Pendry automatic choice for MP perhaps you know little of the Perry keen interest in young ladies not long after he married Pendry`s daughter and became a father.
It was all very sordid and after they split not sure whether Pendry would have reached for an automatic
compared with an automatic choice.

That photo of the two local politicians with the convicted paedophile is damming. I wonder who leaked it to the Guy Fawkes blog?

Based on this recent post by J.Hall
I wonder why lots of Labour Councillors were not prepared to declare their interests nudge nudge seeing their masters were having a real great time with the opposite sex whatever age.

Because of the large amount of data I located and hold during these past 15 years with copies dutifully secured elsewhere,I often recall instances of my correspondence with the TMBC Chief Executive in year 2000 Mr.M Greenwood.
Having requested and allowed to carefully scrutinise the TMBC Councillors declaration of interests files in year 2000,the following are just "some" of the matters of concern I found
which I then brought to the attention of the TMBC Chief Executive whose duty was the responsibility to ensure all Councillors updated their declaration of interests each year.
I also offered this information direct by E.Mail to Tony Blair the UK Prime Minister because I considered such records indicated a concerning issue.

In year 2000 I found the following Councillors had not updated their declaration of interests since the years denoted below.
R.Oldham 1986 (14 years of no declaration of interests
submitted.
F.Robinson 1986(14 years of no declaration of interests
submitted.
J.Taylor 1984 (16 years of no declaration of interests
submitted.
A.Whitehead 1990 (10 years of no declaration of interests submitted.

These were based on year 2000 documentation.
Other Councillors were lax in submitting annual interests
but for were shorter periods of years than those
detailed.
The TMBC Chief Executive M.Greenwood acted swiftly with 2 days to ensure "all" declaration of interests files were updated and showed the appropriate information required.
The response from No 10 indicated the matter had been passed to the TMBC Chief Executive M.Greenwood.
Its surprising what information can be made available simply by exerting your rights as a Tameside resident.
Perhaps other interested individuals should examine the TMBC files which are available to them.

A gamekeeper from southern Scotland has been fined more than £4,000 for poisoning a buzzard and possessing illegal pesticides.

Peter Bell, 62, of Newton Stewart, admitted four contraventions of the Wildlife and Countryside Act.

He committed the poisoning offence by lacing a pheasant carcass with carbofuran in December last year at Glasserton Home Farm near Whithorn.

He was fined a total of £4,450 at Stranraer Sheriff Court.

Procurator fiscal Craig Harris said: "The killing of this buzzard was considered and deliberate criminality.

"The laying of bait laced with carbofuran was shockingly irresponsible conduct.

"It was compounded by the stocks of other illegal poisons that were kept."

He said anyone trying to poison wild birds could expect to be brought before the courts.

The court heard how he laced the carcass of a pheasant with the pesticide carbofuran and set the bait in a field.

A birdwatcher passing the farm saw something flapping in the field and on closer inspection found that it was a common buzzard, lying on the ground, in the last throes of life.

Subsequent forensic work showed that the buzzard had died as a result of ingesting the poisoned bait.

A search of Bell's home address in March this year found poisonous substances in his tool shed and home which were illegal to possess.

The Independent removed this excerpt from an article on Stuart Hall...

"She went to the studios [BBC] encouraged by her mum and head teacher. And went back again, and once more. He seemed caring. Then, having groomed her, she alleges, he got her drunk and started the abuse. She kept going back. His mates, including an MP who is now a Peer, she claims, helped Hall with his filthy hobby."

I wonder who the MP turned Peer could be? At the time, Stuart Hall lived in Stalybridge.

On another different topic, Stuart Hall is best friends with Lord Tom Pendry. He even campaigned for him at the General Election and their respective wives held a company together.

Not all local Labourites are bad, at least Sheldon was straight financially and didn't claim £109,000 expenses for a home he didn't own.

new study on traffic pollution side effects said...

Risk of autism is up to 50% higher in children exposed to traffic fumes and air pollution

Women who live in polluted areas have double the risk of an autistic child
The strongest link is between diesel and mercury pollution and autism

There is a stronger link between pollution and autism in boys, than girls

Women with the highest levels of exposure to these substances were about 50 per cent more likely to have a child who develops autism.

Most pollutants were more strongly
associated with autism in boys than in girls.

Boys are in any case much more likely to have the disorder. The findings form part of the Nurse's Health Study II, a major U.S. investigation of environmental factors behind disease in a large group of more than 116,000 female nurses.

I must contradict this poster because just befpre he ended his MP role it was found he never declared his family business in the textile world. So he was involved in meetings, decisions and lobbying without stating he a long textile association
and he could benefit by not indicating his family business.Never yet found an honest, truthful, person who became a Politician, its not in their character make up
and they are born without
consciences otherwise they could never reach their positions.

Delighted to note others are pointing out the facts relating to traffic related dangerous toxins.
I was giving this exact same information in evidence at the Tameside Kingswater/
Waterside Public Inquiry years ago re Autism.
We constantly get such persistent regurgitated reports time after time.
Its just a case of remembering Fetus get damaged in the womb from what Mothers ingest living near main roads, thats why the Tameside Real Time Air Pollution Monitoring equipment is stuffed away in a open field away from roads ,highways, and motorways to mislead as always the Tameside Public which is yet another utter disgusting scandal by TMBC.
No doubt the Dementia/Alzheimers definite link with the same type of toxins ingested is also due for regurgitating.
We recently had the Heart Disease knowledge of pollution and deaths,so the other list of known diseases and deaths linked to pollution will be trotted out again in the coming months.
Its like a sick merry go round of repeated reports
and still nothing is done apart from me now blocked from communicating with Jeremy Hunt MP(Health Minister) Owen Paterson MP
(Environment Minister)
Professor Dame Sally Davies
(Chief Medical Officer)_
the local Tameside CCG/PCT
Health Administrators, and a host of other devious lying political scumbags who will not admit the facts that every day 24/7 each year at least approx 140 men, women, and children die each day in bedrooms, hospitals, and hospices simply from the diseases linked to ingesting PPM2.5 Particulates and Nitrogen Dioxide Toxins.
Seeing Manchester is a European hot spot for air pollution, and Tameside is top of that Greater Manchester league for pollution I can always substantiate the facts that Local and National Politicians are absolute bastards when it comes to falsifying pollution levels and their direct complicity in the deaths of thousands.
of men.women and children. In brief they are Deliberate Environmental killers of UK citizens and should be jailed like all those who take life away from others.
As for A Gwynne MP he is the ultimate political,no conscience charlatan, who is a master at turning his back on the 220,000 peoples lives and health in Tameside,
So ironically as the Labour Party House of Commons spokesperson on Health matters,he deserves to booted out of the Commons now for totally failing his duties towards his own Infants,Children, and Adults
in Tameside.
He hides, ignores, and has the bloody cheek to even be seen around in Tameside,
when considering the serious diseases being inflicted on decent honest
folk courtesy of his total refusal to act like a normalresponsible man.

Alf Garnett, there are countless discussions about the EDL/UAF/BNP etc on this blog site but you have to remember that many people find the petty squabbles and repetitive posts on that subject totally boring. If you want to discuss the EDL etc click here.

There are important points being raised here such as the claims by the Labour Party that they had distanced themselves from Stuart Hall when they obviously hadn’t.

TC, It makes you wonder how deep these paedophile investigations are going to go. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot more 'celebrities' were in the news for their perversions.

Also, I cannot understand why people post a comment on matters unrelated to the subject of your post.

I also wonder if they would be so quick to post their venom if they had to leave a name and email address.

Some of us eh,lets see who you are the one`s who enjoy seeing kids and babies suffer from illnesses and diseases because they need to breathe the toxic which you think is great for them.
This post obviously originates from one or more
sadists who get kicks out of people dying from toxic air in Tameside.
No accounting for people who enjoy seeing kids abused.

"I also wonder if they would be so quick to post their venom if they had to leave a name and email address."

And what venom would that be, big bad bill? Is that some sort of threat, brandishing modern Britain's leftwing orwellian thought and speech laws? Does that make you feel hard, having the law and the powers-that-be on YOUR side? I don't see you sticking your neck with anything more controversial than walks in tameside.

Despite taking exception to the 'venom' some post here, you romaniticise a certain vision of Britain on that website of yours which doesn't strike me as very 'inclusive'. No African or Islamic backing music to your quaint youtube videos out in the English countryside. Be true to your principles, and endeavor to find that shot of a lovely new mosque complimenting our rural landscape, and then pin it to the front page of walksintameside.

Also, next time you're enjoying your pint of real ale in one of those cosy country pubs, just remind yourself that it's your kind who have made damned sure that future generations will have to make do with non-alcoholic halal brew, served under the watchful eye of some bushy bearded chargehand.

Though knowing your kind, you'll have relocated to some relatively homogenous zone like Madeira. Out of curiosity, do you live right in the middle of some fully enriched local area like Oldham or Gorton? I'd hate to think we have any hypocrites in our midst....

Fair point, if you never make ANY controversial or contentious posts there's no problem leaving an email address.
If however you want to post on for example, the problems of mass immigration and/or any race or immigrant related issues such as the ongoing destruction of the indigenous population and its history, heritage and culture, be aware the police monitor this site.
As for Hall, some of his offences were decades ago, very minor and should have been binned. Conversely the more serious ones should have seen him sent down for life, his age is irrelevant. The actual sentence given and the time and money wasted on thw whole saga demonstrates the police and justice system work to an irrational and counter productive agenda based on political correctness and pathological leniency.

Tameside Citizen said...

Bill makes a valid point. It is a lot easier to post controversial comments when using the cloak of anonymity. Think back to the recent spat between the various horse owners around the Hyde Hall area. All kinds of accusations and name calling by anonymous posters such as "£10 a week tramps from Brinni" etc. These are people who see each other on a daily basis but when given the chance to make untraceable anonymous comments they let rip against fellow horse lovers.

Would they have behaved the same way if their real name and email address was visible? I doubt it!

Bill's Approach to Controversy said...

The point is TC, that it's no easier to make a controversial comment whilst anonymous than it is to make a safe kosher comment in public.

Unless the holier than thou brigade around here have put their own heads above the parapet with controversial comments in public likely to result in prosecution and vilification, then they're in no position to sneer at anyone else. If condemning nonces and "I'm happy when I'm hiking" is as controversial as Bill gets, then he has no kudos points to score against the rest of us where non-pc sabre rattling is concerned.
