Update on the poorly fox with sarcoptic mange
The fox I have been treating for sarcoptic mange made a rare daytime appearance today. It could not resist breaking cover to try its luck at taking some of the minced meat I leave for the buzzard, but sadly it lost its nerve at the last minute and backed off without taking any.
The colour video above was filmed today, the black and white night vision footage was filmed back in November. If you watch the film from November you will see steam rising from the raw infected area caused by the mange. I never imagined that this poor fox would have survived the winter because as the fur falls out the fox loses its ability to keep warm, but thankfully for this fox, winter this year was exceptionally mild and as is evident from the video above it survived. It is still not fully mange free, but it is a lot better than it was last year.

John Taylor seems to have moved away from his stance on fox hunting/killing.
Yes, he was developing a university thesis on dog s**t, but his spellchecker exploded.
That really would not surprise me. Look at ‘Sir’ Richard from Manchester, one time Trot rabble rouser turned gentleman who bows down to the Queen. There is nothing worse than a peasant who believes he has become an aristocrat. If hunting with dogs is what a gentleman is expected to do the peasant morphed aristocrat would feel obliged to do just that.
Animals Fish,Birds were first on this Planet we are the invaders.
What's your point?
