Well said Cllr Parker Perry

I can think of many many things which could be considered a waste of money but commemorating our fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for us is not one of them.

Cllr Sean Parker-Perry was responding in this weeks edition of the Tameside Reporter after an anonymous caller rang the newspaper to complain the £11,000 recently spent on the Hollingworth War Memorial was a waste of money.

Sounds like another traffic hysteria scheme.
How many people have been run over during the annual memorial service at this cenotaph? None I would think. Money's scarce: renovation, maintenance of our memorials yes, but this sounds like a waste of money.

You can tell SPP is up for re-election next year. Any guesses if he'll get reselected after stabbing his mate Reynolds in the back?

TC you disappoint me by praising SPP.

A couple of years back when writing under the pseudonym Tameside VIP, Parker-Perry supported mass immigration to Britain and the replacement of the indigenous British people by foreign immigrants on the grounds that this was simply a case of "out with the old, in with the new".

Is he a homosexual?

Yes NCB I remember Parker Perry making those comments on this blog during his spat with Liam Billington, about 2007 I seem to recall.

Doubt he has changed his mind about the British people in the intervening years. What a hypocrite!

So he is a poofter.

I suppose Parker Perry is thankful that thousands of British men and boys died to extinguish the last candle of European civilisation and usher in this high tech dark age.

This is definitely SPP kicking off his re-election campaign.

I too recall his spats with Liam Billington during 2007-2008, and the foolish and ill-advised homophobic comments he made. All because Liam most likely got too close to the truth for Sean's liking.
