Heads Up - Tesco Home Plus Denton

Bargain 16gb Sandisc SDHC cards on sale - the cheapest in the country for sure.

These 16gb cards are on sale at the exact same price as the 2gb cards. If you have a camera, camcorder or any other device which accepts SDHC cards you would be well advised to take trip to the Tesco Home Plus store at Crown Point North.

Sandisc is in my opinion the best (most reliable) brand when it comes to flash memory cards. The cards available at this bargain price are Class4 which means they are perfect for recording HD video and quick burst raw photographs. But be advised SDHC will not work in devices designed only for standard SD cards. They may look identical but the file system used in SDHC is different.

Why have you blanked out the time on the receipt TC? Do you think MI5 might check Tesco's security camera footage to find out your identity. You're paran...actually you might be right.

You sure class 4 is suitable for HD? Play.com are selling 16GB class 4 cards for £12.99. Amazon are selling 16GB class 10 for £15.99.

I've gone off SanDisk as I've had two of their MicroSD cards pack in on my phones. I've used Samsung cards recently and they are faster and so far, no problems.

They have priced them wrong. I will ring them in the morning to correct it. The proper price is twenty five quid. Shame on you Tc for encouraging what is basicly theft.

From a large multinational parasite like Tesco?
Well done TC!

Hi MRM, yes Class 4 cards are perfect for HD video recording. If you buy a HD Panasonic camcorder you will usually get a Panasonic branded Class 4 card as part of the package.

I have had good experiences with SanDisc to date but in the past I have had a few nightmares with lesser brands such as Maxell and Lexar but like anything associated with consumer electronics sometimes it is just luck of the draw.

A very noble sentiment from ‘honesty is the best policy’.

While you are on the phone to them would you also have a word about theft from British farmers who are screwed to the ground by Tesco in their bid to extort everything from producers at the lowest possible price so they can make even greater profits for themselves and while you are at it ask them about working conditions in their sweatshops in the far east.

"Tesco Town" Stalybridge Canal said...

This is what you get when you build a Tesco next to the canal.
Tesco bags floating in there, all sorts of crap.
Tesco make millions every day, they should be made to pay to clean it out.

Despite my gross hypocrisy after previously sermonising about Tesco and then actually going into one of their stores to get a bargain SD card I feel I must comment on the litter allegations.

In all honesty the mess in the canal cannot be solely blamed on Tesco. The real culprits worthy of blame are the pond-life who actually dumped the rubbish in the canal in the first place, although it would only be fair for Tesco to do the right thing and pay for the canal by their store to be cleaned seeing as lots of the rubbish did originate from their store.

The British public love Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's etc hence their massive expansion in the last fifteen years.
Don't blame the companies, they're fulfilling their function. If you've got a problem blame the consumer who created the growth explosion.
That goes for the state of the country at large. It's not the politicians' fault, they couldn't do anything to destroy our national identity if the 'dumb herd' hadn't put them there in the first place.

aluman if he's still the leader by next elections, the party won't have any Candidates in Tameside.
Thousands of good people will come back to the party if he's not.

jump before you are pushed Nick said...

One of the reasons why Nick has lost core support from those who really matter is because of his absolute refusal to allow free and fair challenges to his leadership.

He must be aware that he now presides over a party which largely consists of ‘armchair members’ and paid staff. Virtually the entire middle management has vanished.

The people who were his most loyal and able lieutenants and who did everything for free have finally had enough after years of being taken for granted.

Other parties have leadership challenges which come and go without incident. The despicable Ed Balls recently challenged for the leadership of the Labour Party. Was Balls booted out for challenging - no he was given a job in the shadow cabinet. If he was a BNP member and challenged for leadership where would he be now? Where all the previous leadership challengers are - outside the party, either expelled or left in disgust at the way internal democracy has been subverted.

Nick would be best advised to allow a free and fair leadership challenge and should he lose, he then has the perfect opportunity to concentrate solely on his work in Europe on behalf of his constituents.

In a post Nick Griffin BNP there would be nothing to stop leadership challenges and I could see no reason why he could not at some time in the future once again campaign to become party leader but at the rate he is going, should he win the 2011 challenge through unfair means he will end up as the chairman of an empty shell of a once great party.

Thanks for the heads up, I bought two 16gig cards from Tesco Denton today.

No offence Aluman but you haven't got a clue what's going on. Griffin's nearly wrecked it. Massive numbers of quality groups, activists and members have left. There were only 100 and odd candidates in May's local elections, a drop of about 500.
Griffin should stand down before he does any more damage.
The person who said a shell would be all that's left if he wins is right.
