Foxes and now badgers
The garden is becoming a wildlife habitat with friendly foxes and now badgers visiting. The video above was filmed today in the early hours after I put out food for the fox. The fox did not show but this badger did. My only concern is my hedgehog has completely vanished and I am worried the badger may have eaten it. This would be highly regrettable as the hedgehog has been a garden resident for many months and was a useful deterrent against invading slugs.

There's a mass badger cull underway as they spread TB amongst cattle. The bleeding hearts have delayed this for years - despite the scientific evidence overwhelmingly confirming it - massively exacerbating the number of infected livestock.
WRONG AGAIN! Badgers have more right to live and roam freely in this country than bogus asylum seekers.

It is highly probable that the badger has eaten the hedgehog. It would have been the smell of the hedgehog that attracted it to the garden.

Don't forget how many extra residents they've shipped in to Tameside via large scale house building over the last ten years witout the infrastucure to back it. There's trouble ahead and NO-ONE responsible must be let off the hook.

They told me at the last visit, that, many folk getting reported end up getting more benefit because they are not claiming what they are entitled by law.

I was advised by the visiter about the forms to fill in.

The devastating impact of mass immigration upon the British educational system, which has cost in excess of £16 billion, has been detailed in a new report by the MigrationWatch UK think tank.
"We estimate that in twelve years since immigration began to climb rapidly under the previous government (1998—2009), the additional public spending required for the education of the schoolchildren of migrants was almost £16 billion,” the study said.
“Of this almost £5 billion was in 2009 alone; this amounted to over £13 million a day and was equivalent to over 1p on the basic rate of income tax,” it continued.
“Over the next five years, to 2016, 550,000 more school places will be needed as a direct and indirect result of migration, costing a further £40 billion, and over the next ten years — to 2020 — this rises to one million extra places at a total cost over ten years of almost £100 billion.
“Looking further ahead, the official population projections, suggest that an additional 2.3 million births between 2008 and 2033 will result from migration,” MigrationWatch said in an official press release.
“Adding direct migration to this and assuming that all of the additional children are educated in state schools, the total costs of their schooling would be almost £195 billion over a 25 year period.
“This calculation is made using very conservative assumptions about school leaving age etc., it does not make any allowance for additional education requirements of migrants (e.g.: help with languages etc.) so the eventual cost could be much higher than this.
“By 2033 children born earlier in the period will have left school so the number of additional school places required will be about 1.3 million.
“This would be equivalent to almost 3,800 new schools staffed by around 75,000 additional teachers,” the reports executive summary concluded.
How much more evidence does the public need to understand that the very fabric of our society is being utterly destroyed by the immigration tsunami?

I found a hedgehog in my garage so I've made it a hedgehog box in the garden. This stops foxes etc killing them and gives them somewhere warm for them to rest during winter. You can buy them on various websites but you can make them very easily. It would be very difficult for anything to eat a hedgehog because of the spikes so I wouldn't worry too much about that, they often roam from garden to garden but the smell of catfood should tempt it back to yours in no time.

Thanks for the info SK. I think the hedgehog has retreated into the compost heap for winter, but it is possible the badger took it. Hedgehogs do not have too many natural predators due to their prickly nature but badgers are capable of and have been known to eat hedgehogs. Apparently they overcome the issue of the hedgehogs prickles by slashing them open with their long claws.
You could read Beatrix Potter books to each other.
